Function
PPOM_TOBAC Catalyzes the 6-electron oxidation of protoporphyrinogen-IX to form protoporphyrin-IX.[1] Provides precursor for the mitochondrial and plastidic heme synthesis and the predominant chlorophyll synthesis in plastids.[2]
