Sequence alignment of BAZ1A and BAZ1B bromodomains. BAZ1A and BAZ1B both have a conserved asparagine anchor but BAZ1A has a glutamic acid gatekeeper residue instead of a valine gatekeeper residue in BAZ1B which is present in the binding pockets of several acetyl-lysine binding bromodomains. Sequence alignment was carried out using Tcoffee.
