RNase P Nobel Prizes

In 1989, Sidney Altman and Thomas R. Cech shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their discovery of catalytic properties of RNA.

Sidney Altman shared this Nobel Prize for investigation into the catalytic properties of RNase P.[1] Thomas R. Cech studied Group I Introns.
