FunctionCytochrome P450 hydroxylase (CPH) acts in the in-chain hydroxylation of lauric acid which is required for the development of the male organ in higher plants[1]. CPH hydroxylyzes the anti-cholesterol natural product herbosidiene[2]. See also Cytochrome P450 and Hemeproteins.
