RelevanceInhibitors of MST suppress H2S production and this make non sulfur bacteria like E. coli and Bacillus anthracis sensitive to antibiotics[4]. Structural highlightsThe active site of MST contains mercaptocysteine and pyruvate[5]. Water molecules are shown as red spheres.
