Disease Mutations in Syn which interacts with sodium channel cause the inherited disorder long-QT syndrome resulting in sudden cardiac death. Structural highlights Syn is characterized by a plekstrin homology domain(PH) which is split by a PDZ domain and a C-terminal Syn unique domain.
