[https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/RPA_METTH RPA_METTH] Inhibits DNA polymerase activity of PolB, which can be overcome by RFC and PNCA. Stimulates 3'-to 5'-exonuclease activity of PolB at 30 degrees Celsius, but has no effect at 50 or 70 degrees Celsius. Bind ssDNA and replication forks; replication forks structures bind both Hel308 and this protein. Has no effect on helicase activity of Hel308; may help target the helicase to DNA substrates that require DNA re-modeling.<ref>PMID:10497247</ref> <ref>PMID:21195035</ref>
