Based on the link that you added to the GFP mice photo, that photo is considered public information, and thus is okay to have in Proteopedia. I found that out by visiting the site that you linked and then clicking on the disclaimer link http://www.nichd.nih.gov/disclaimer.cfm where point number 3 satisfies our copyright questions. The second picture [[:Image:Spectra.gif]], however, is taken from a lab's website, and there is no notice describing whether or not we are allowed to use the image elsewhere, therefore we are not allowed to re-use the image. I have deleted that image from Proteopedia. If you do obtain permission for its reuse from the copyright holder, then feel free to re-upload it. I know that it would be much more convenient if we could use whichever images we pleased, but unfortunately we cannot. Thanks for understanding. | |||
