The PyMOL2Jmol Translator fails to translate certain features:

Issues we are working to solve

  1. Zoom does not translate.
  2. Wireframe thickness appears too thin (0.pse, 6.pse)
  3. A surface over 2 chains appears broken (2.pse)
  4. Fidelity of surface coloring (3.pse)
  5. Fidelity of wireframe coloring (4.pse)
  6. Slab & depth are not translated (6.pse)
  7. Waters shown as crosses are translated to spheres (6.pse) -- May be a Jmol limitation. Could make spheres smaller at least.

Issues we accept for the time being

  1. Inability to translate movies.

Issues due to Jmol

These issues are only solvable through changes to Jmol

  1. Dotted measurements in Jmol have a set width that can look narrow compared to measurement objects in PyMOL.

Issues due to PyMOL

These issues are only solvable through changes to PyMOL
