| Function
Symporter (Symp) is a co-transporter membrane protein which transports two or more different molecules across the plasma membrane in the same direction[1].
Disease
Mutations in sodium/iodide symporter cause iodide transport defects[2].
Structural highlights
Dipeptide:H symporter binds the dipeptide between its N- and C-terminal bundles[3].
