[5EAS_TOBAC] Catalyzes the cyclization of trans,trans-farnesyl diphosphate (FPP) to the bicyclic intermediate 5-epi-aristolochene, initial step in the conversion of FPP to the sesquiterpenoid antifungal phytoalexin capsidiol.
