Crystal structure of the PUMILIO-homology domain from Human PUMILIO2 in complex with p38alpha NREb

Template:ABSTRACT PUBMED 21397187

Function

[PUM2_HUMAN] Sequence-specific RNA-binding protein that regulates translation and mRNA stability by binding the 3'-UTR of mRNA targets. Its interactions and tissue specificity suggest that it may be required to support proliferation and self-renewal of stem cells by regulating the translation of key transcripts.

About this Structure

3q0r is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Homo sapiens. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA.
