Function
Formyl-CoA transferase (FCT) catalyzes the conversion of formyl-CoA and oxalate to formate and oxalyl-CoA. FCT takes part in the oxalate degradation pathway[1].
Structural highlights
FCT structure shows 2 domains: large and small. The large domain is composed of residues from the N-terminal and the C-terminal. The active site binds CoA and oxalate [2].
