Exhibits diverse biological activities, such as apoptosis, and inhibition of agonist- and shear stress-induced platelet aggregation (SIPA). Effects of snake L-amino oxidases on platelets are controversial, since they either induce aggregation or inhibit agonist-induced aggregation.
