Function
[GRP_HUMAN] GRP stimulates gastrin release as well as other gastrointestinal hormones. Operates as a negative feedback regulating fear and established a causal relationship between GRP-receptor gene expression, long-term potentiation, and amygdala-dependent memory for fear (By similarity).
