The Steps toward Elucidating the Structures of Biological Macromolecules by X-ray crystallography.

Structural Biology is a branch of molecular biology & biochemistry concerned with the the molecular structure of biological macromolecules like proteins and nucleic acids, and their interactions with ligands & drugs. It focuses on determining the structure of macromolecules to better understand their function and how to manipulate these macromolecules to develop therapeutics and broaden our understanding of biological phenomena.
