HGL1_ENTH1 Lectin which binds galactose and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine of host glycoproteins and thus mediates adhesion to host cells (Probable). Mediates adherence to host colonic mucins, an essential step for pathogenic tissue invasion (Probable).[1]
