The complex is thought to be composed in E. coli of a major pseudopilin or general secretion pathway protein G (GspG or EspG or PulG) and several minor pseudopilins or general secretion pathway proteins H, I, J, K (GspI, GspJ, GspK or EspI, EspJ, EspK, EspH, PulH, PulI, PulJ, PulK).
