Crystal Structure of mouse T-cadherin EC1 EC2

Structural highlights

3k5r is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Mus musculus. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 2Å
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

CAD13_MOUSE Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. May act as a negative regulator of neural cell growth.
