Crystal Structure of Untagged C54A Mutant Flavin Reductase (DszD) in Complex with FMN From Mycobacterium goodii

Structural highlights

3pft is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Mycobacterium goodii. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 1.601Å
Ligands:FMN
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

DSZD_MYCGD An NADH:FMN oxidoreductase which supplies reduced FMN for the '4S' desulfurization pathway that removes covalently bound sulfur from dibenzothiophene (DBT) without breaking carbon-carbon bonds. Can also use FAD. Provides DszC and probably also DszA (DBT-monooxygenase and DBTO2-monooxygenase respectively) with reduced flavin (FMN and/or FAD).[1]
