Function
BOLA_ECOLI Plays an important role in general stress response (heat shock, acidic stress, oxidative stress, carbon-starvation stress and osmotic shock). Involved in morphogenetic pathway. Has a role in the induction of the expression of dacA (PBP5), dacC (PBP6) and ampC.[1] [2]
