One of the CBI Molecules being studied in the University of Massachusetts Amherst Chemistry-Biology Interface Program at UMass Amherst and on display at the Molecular Playground.

Avidin is protein which is found in chicken egg white. Its interaction with biotin is known to be one of the strongest non-covalent bonds, this high binding affinity towards biotin is being vastly explored in the filds of biology and chemistry.
