Structural highlights
Function3NO4_BUNCA Binds and inhibits muscular and neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR). Is a reversible antagonist of muscle nAChR (alpha-1-beta-1-delta-epsilon/CHRNA1-CHRNB1-CHRND-CHRNE) (IC(50)=10 nM) and a potent and poorly reversible antagonist of the neuronal alpha-7/CHRNA7 nAChR (IC(50)=50 nM). May exhibit differential affinities for the two binding sites on the muscle nAChR.[1] Evolutionary Conservation![]() Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf. References
