FunctionMALX3_YEAST Major isomaltase (alpha-1,6-glucosidase) required for isomaltose utilization. Preferentially hydrolyzes isomaltose, palatinose, and methyl-alpha-glucoside, with little activity towards isomaltotriose or longer oligosaccharides.
