FunctionAES_SALTY Displays esterase activity towards short chain fatty esters (acyl chain length of up to 8 carbons). Able to hydrolyze triacetylglycerol (triacetin) and tributyrylglycerol (tributyrin), but not trioleylglycerol (triolein) or cholesterol oleate.
