DAPD_PSEAE Catalyzes the conversion of the cyclic tetrahydrodipicolinate (THDP) into the acyclic N-succinyl-L-2-amino-6-oxopimelate using succinyl-CoA. It can only accept L-2 aminopimelate as substrate.[1]
