FunctionPHY_MYCA9 Catalyzes the hydrolytic C-C cleavage of phloretin to phloroglucinol and 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid. Can also hydrolyze monoacetylphloroglucinol (MAPG) but not 2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol (DAPG).[1] References
