DER1_YEAST Component of the endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) pathway. Specifically required for the ERAD-L pathway which mediates the degradation of proteins with misfolded lumenal domains within the endoplasmic reticulum.[1] [2] [3] [4]
