FunctionTBA1A_MOUSE Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules, protein filaments consisting of alpha- and beta-tubulin heterodimers (By similarity). Microtubules grow by the addition of GTP-tubulin dimers to the microtubule end, where a stabilizing cap forms (By similarity).
