The overall structure of 1EVE contains 2 types of amphipathic elements; 15 beta sheets and 16 alpha helices. 1eve is a fairly standard molecule in the sense that the hydrophic aspects of the protein are well-maintained on the inside, while the hydrophillic portions are around the outside. 1eve has an active name called Acetylcholinesterase, which has a ligand called Aricept.
