Elevated B2M levels are found in patients of liver chirossis[2] and hepatitis[3]. Dialysis-associated amyloidosis is a serious complication in chronic dialysis patients. It is caused by B2M fibrils amyloid deposits[4].
Relevance
B2M is used as a marker for certain types of blood cell cancer. It can indicate the spread and severity of myeloma.
