Yeast U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP
| ||||||||||||
The <scene='72/726441/Firstscene/2'>initial view</scene> shows proteins in white and the three snRNAs in colour (U4, U5, and U6). <scene='72/726441/Rnascene/1'>Focusing on the RNAs</scene> reveals extensive base pairing between the U4 and U6 snRNAs. The U2 snRNP binds to the region highlighted in blue in this view. The U1 snRNP binds to the U2snRNP. Both interactions lead to extensive conformational change and activation of the spliceosome. For the source article see Nguyen et al, 2016[1]. This is a sample scene created with SAT to color by Group, and another to make a transparent representation of the protein. You can make your own scenes on SAT starting from scratch or loading and editing one of these sample scenes.
