Function
Syntaxin (Stx) are membrane-integrated proteins that are instrumental in exocytosis of vescicles. Sts-1 is essential in the fusion machinery in the brain. It forms a 4-helical bundle comples with proteins SNAP-25 and VAMP2d which drives fusion of vescicles with the plasma membrane[1].
