CA1B_CONPE Alpha-conotoxins act on postsynaptic membranes, they bind to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) and thus inhibit them. This toxin blocks mammalian nAChRs (alpha-7 > alpha-3/beta-2).[1]
