Crystal structure of the ligand-free form of the flavin reductase component (HpaC) of 4-hydroxyphenylacetate 3-monooxygenase

Structural highlights

2ecr is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Thermus thermophilus HB8. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 1.6Å
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT, TOPSAN

Function

HPAC_THET8 Catalyzes the reduction of free flavins (FMN, FAD and riboflavin) by NADH. Subsequently, the reduced flavins diffuse to the large HpaB component.[1]

Evolutionary Conservation
