Summary

Clostridium beijerinckii possesses aydh genes which have been proposed to be responsible for acting on the aldehyde or oxo group of donors, NAD or NADP as acceptor production in solventogenic and alcohologenic cultures, respectively. This structure is of aydh enzyme found in Clostridium beijerinckii which is a bi-functional alcohol/aldehyde dehydrogenase. This structure was developed using MODELLER v10.4 and refined with GalaxyRefine as part of "Winter INternship in BIOinformatics and Computational Biology (WINBIOCB) - 2022" Internship hosted by Mr. Karan Kumar, Prime Minister's Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. Manuscript Title: Computational investigations in inhibition of alcohol/aldehyde dehydrogenase in lignocellulosic hydrolysates Authors: Karan Kumar, Azeeza Siddiqa. MD, Pragati, Priti Chandane, Saanya Yadav, Mahima Kori, A Shivram, Lepakshi Barbora, and Vijayanand S. Moholkar
