The TF/factor VII complex is responsible for the initiation of the coagulation protease cascade[1]. Disease TF is involved in cancer angiogenesis and metastasis[2]. Relevance TF expression by cardiac myocytes is important to maintain heart hemostasis under normal and pathologic conditions[3]. (PDB code 1j9c).
