Fig 1: Selected Proteopedia scenes the activities described in this guide (scenes are either created by students or used in assignments). A wide range of topics and a wealth of structural insight is represented in these materials. Lessons associated with these scenes are (by rows) R1, R3, R2; R4, n/a, W1; W2, W3, W4; W5, W7, W6, with “R” indicating reading and viewing assignments and “W” indicating assignments where students write Proteopedia content. An interactive 3D version is available as supplementary Fig S1.
