I am an Assistant Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of San Diego. I received my B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen and my Ph.D. in Structural Biology from the University of Cambridge. I am a structural biologist, trained as a graduate student in NMR methods, and then as a post-doc in X-ray diffraction methods, to determine protein structures. My research focuses on proteins involved in chromatin structure and the regulation of gene expression.
